Khorasan Science and Technology Park

This memorandum was signed to leverage national technological capacities. This joint cooperation paves the way for synergy between the two parks in various fields, including:

• Development of technologies in oil, gas, refining, and petrochemicals
• Support for technology-based and knowledge-based companies
• Facilitation of commercialization of innovative products

Key provisions of the agreement include:

• Establishing a joint platform to solve technological challenges in the oil industry through knowledge-based companies
• Providing reciprocal accommodation for companies in host parks and access to specialized infrastructure
• Facilitating access to financial and credit resources, including grants and tax incentives
• Joint participation of member companies in specialized domestic and international exhibitions and events
• Cooperation to transform Khorasan into a hub for energy industry equipment production in Iran

During the ceremony, Shakeri emphasized the strategic role of science and technology parks in achieving technological goals in the oil industry, stating that such collaborations can create a dynamic chain of innovation, production, and commercialization at the national level, leading to transformation in the country’s knowledge-based economy.

This memorandum is considered an effective step toward aligning regional and national capacities to meet the technological needs of the oil industry and moving toward an innovative and sustainable future.
